After defining a generation of British design, Alice Temperley MBE has stepped away from the brand she built. This is a preview of her exciting new chapter which launches in March 2027. 

Alice is working with artists to create original artworks that blend textiles with contemporary art. The first is Nikoleta Sekulovic, with an artwork celebrating Jane Morris (1839 - 1914), a defining muse of the Pre-Raphaelite movement and one of the most portrayed and mythologised women of the nineteenth century - a muse who helped shape the aesthetic of a movement.

It is this thread - a woman who inspired great art, and whose image still inspires today.  It captured Alice's imagination and is the first in a preview of artists, with more to follow in the coming months ahead of the official launch in March 2027.

The collaboration brings together three worlds - fine art, fashion and craftmanship - in a shared celebration of storytelling, beauty and the enduring power of a muse. 

Each artwork is Made to Order and is expected to take 6 weeks of handwork to complete each work. Framing will take place according to specifications. 

The original artwork shown is 177cm by 269cm.
